OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2011. Concern Galnaftogaz CEO Vitaliy Antonov took the first place in ranking of the most influential people of L’viv region business community. Ranking was conducted by Mediastar news agency (L’viv). The winners were determined in six categories: politicians, businessmen, public agents, publicmen, mass media workers and cultural elite.

According to project director Zoryana Illenko, Mediastar prepared such annual ranking for the third time already, basing on questioning of journalists, politicians, experts, sociologists. Thus an emphasis was laid on the achievements of every rating participant during the last year exactly.

In 2011 Vitaliy Antonov already took the first place in ranking of the best top managers of Ukrainian oil and gas industry, conducted by Ukrainian Investment Newspaper, and entered top three best national business managers in ranking by ТОP 100 magazine and Ekonomika publishing house.

Concern Galnaftogaz is one of the largest employers and taxpayers not only in L’viv region but in the whole Ukraine. It provides workplaces for approximately 5 thousand people. Subsequent to the results of 2010 the amount of taxes paid by company exceeded UAH 1.6 milliard. 59 modern Concern Galnaftogaz filling complexes under OKKO brand operate nowadays on the territory of L’viv region, all in all over 300 such filling complexes operate throughout Ukraine.
