OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2011. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company continues insurance payments to tourists suffering from winding-up of Luzhniki Travel Company LLC travel agency, whose liability is insured for RUB 30 mln. The insurer began to receive grateful letters from customers who already obtained insurance compensations and satisfied with the quality of services rendered by Ingosstrakh Insurance Company.

As of September 26 the total payments worth RUB 2,794,512 under 22 applications for losses incurred by 49 tourists who failed to go on their journeys this August through the fault of Luzhniki Travel Company LLC. Up to date Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has registered as many as 72 applications for losses of 172 persons. The amount of losses demanded is RUB 12.4 mln. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company continues to accept applications from the indemnitees and pays insurance compensations in full measure.

Luzhniki Travel Company LLC declared the suspension of its obligations on August, 2011. As a consequence the agency’s customers could enjoy their prepaid tours and go on the scheduled journeys. According to civil liability insurance contract of Luzhniki Travel Company LLC for non-fulfillment of improper fulfillment of its obligations this fact is the event insured, therefore, any costs incurred by the tourists should be indemnified through an insurance company. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company continues the payments under the insurance contract and accepts applications from the affected tourists.
