OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2011. The Russian-Slovak business forum was held in St. Petersburg in early September 2011. It was organized by the Russian Ministry of Energy under the patronage of the Co-Chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission for economic and scientific-technical cooperation between Russia and Slovakia - Russia's Energy Minister, S. Shmatko, and the Slovakian Minister of Economic Affairs, Yu. Mishkova.

The participants of the forum discussed the prospects for Russian-Slovak cooperation in the commercial and economic, energy, transport and financial sectors. Particular attention was paid to the development and implementation of joint projects aimed at strengthening cooperation in high-tech, energy-efficient and innovative projects.

The Vice-President and Head of External Relations, Boris Kirillov, attended the forum from Novikombank, and he met with representatives of the banking sector in Slovakia and company executives from Slovakia and Russia who are interested in establishing and developing business contacts with Novikombank.
