OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2011. PJSC EMAlliance and General Contractor of CJSC EnergoProject have concluded the Contract for the supply of the boiler equipment within the framework of construction of Power Unit No. 3 at Berezovskaya GRES at the cost of more than 4 billion rubles. The current backlog of orders of PJSC EMAlliance with regard to the present Project will amount to more than 55 billion rubles.

Within the framework of the Contract, EMAlliance will modernize, complete and rehabilitate the boiler unit equipment unliable to exploitation due to its extended storage as well as its partial replacement in accordance with the strict ecological requirements of the Customer. So EMAlliance will supply the boiler plant for the Power Unit at ultrasupercritical steam parameters. The total installed capacity of the Power Unit will amount to 800 MW. After the Project implementation the installed capacity of Berezovskaya GRES will amount to 2400 MW.

The works within the framework of the given Contract will be carried out by the specialists of PJSC EMAlliance branch in Podolsk. The main Project equipment will be produced at the manufacturing facilities of PJSC EMAlliance – TKZ Krasny Kotelshchik.

The main factors in choosing configuration of Power Unit at ultrasupercritical steam parameters were the increasing of performance potential, ecological and engineering-and-economic performance of the Unit operation. The equipment commissioning of the Power Unit No.3 made by EMAlliance will allow not only to considerably reduce the emissions of nitrogen oxides to 300 mg/nm³ (which corresponds to the strictest Russian ecological norms and requirements), but also to totally except slagging of furnace water walls. t should be noted that the construction of the Unit No. 3 at Berezovskaya GRES is the largest Project on unit capacity out of Projects abuilding in coal energy industry according to the RF Government Order “The list of the generating Projects the usage of which will provide the capacity supply under the Contracts for Supply of Capacity.”

The planned period of the Project implementation is the second quarter of 2013.
