OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2011. Today Mr. Avdeenko Timur, President of PJSC EMAlliance, and Mr. Passini Michele, General Director of Burmeister and Wain Energy A/S (Denmark), have formally signed Memorandum of mutual understanding in the field of technological cooperation in Kremlin in the presence of Mr. Medvedev Dmitry, President of Russian Federation, and Margrethe II, Queen of Denmark.

According to the signed Memorandum, the parties are intended to develop the cooperation in the field of designing and construction of boiler equipment at ultrasupercritical steam parameters as well as boiler equipment operating on biomass for industry and electricity industry projects in Russia and abroad.

Within the framework of the signed Memorandum at the initial stage, which is to last 180 days, the parties plan to evaluate the opportunities of production of the modern environmentally safe equipment for industry and energy industry in our country considering the technological solutions of BWE and engineering and manufacturing possibilities of EMAlliance in the field of designing and production of heavy boiler equipment operating on the organic fuel.

The participants of the agreement consider that the modernization programs of domestic energy industry and innovation technologies development state programs existing today allow PJSC EMAlliance and BWE to come into top positions at the products market for “smart energy industry” in Russia as well as in other countries.

While commenting on the Memorandum signing, Mr. Avdeenko Timur, President of PJSC EMAlliance, has noted that the cooperation of the leading companies in the sphere of innovations with participation and support of the state is very important to the global restructuring of Russian energy industry on the basis of the most energy-efficient and environmentally safe technologies. “Innovation technical solutions are no doubt the future of the domestic and world energy industry. Those companies that will be able to propose these solutions to the modern market will play the key role in its development,” – he noted.
