OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2011. Belarusbank has adopted a decision to suspend contractual relations with the international rating agency Moody's Investors Service Limited subsequent to ongoing volatility in the international capital markets.

Belarusbank started working with Moody's in 2007. The agency has recently assigned B3/Caa1 rating with negative outlook to Belarusbank. Currently Belarusbank is being rated by two international rating agencies: Fitch Ratings (B/B-, negative) and Standard&Poor's (B/B, negative), which enables the bank to be an active player in the international capital markets.
