Wisco Draws Up National Standard for High-Purity Neon
OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2011. National standard for “high-purity neon” revised by Wisco Oxygen Company as the first drafter passed evaluation by National Gas Standardization Committee with a unanimous vote. It filled the gap for national standard of high-purity neon, reported the press-centre of Wisco.
As long as the increasing demand on neon purity, the existing national standard for pure neon can no longer meet customers’ needs. In 2010, National Gas Standardization Committee delegated Wisco as the first drafter responsible for revising high-purity neon national standard.
Wisco Oxygen Company jointly set up a drafting group with Shousteel Oxygen Plant, Shanghai Huaai Chromatographic Analysis Corporation, implemented deep survey and analysis on production of domestic pure neon and high pure neon products, carried out a great amount of verifications, and conducted accurate calculations for neon volume factor K, thus established a theoretical foundation to revise national standard for high-purity neon.
It is learnt that this national standard for high-purity neon is under way of make registration for record with National Standardization Committee and estimated to be put into effect nationwide at the end of this year.
