OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2011. Recently 2011 China Logistics & Purchasing Informatization Promotion Meeting, i.e. CIO Summit of Logistics Enterprise was held in Zhengzhou, Henan. Shanghai Shentong Metro Co., Ltd. Metro Supply Chain Platform (MSCP) Project undertaken by Baosight Software Co., Ltd. was awarded Excellent Case Prize of China Logistics & Purchasing Informatization. It means that Baosight Software has won favorable reputation and certain influence in Chinese logistics & purchasing informatization field, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

This year is the third year of the selection of "Excellent Case Prize of China Logistics & Purchasing Informatization". After the preliminary review and specialists' panel review, totally 59 excellent cases from the fields of logistics enterprise, public platform and industrial logistics are selected.

Shanghai Shentong Metro Co., Ltd. Metro Supply Chain Platform (MSCP) Project is a large urban networked computer business management system built up in order to accommodate the demand for Shanghai's networked rail traffic management, support network material supply management system, realize virtual total warehouse flat management mode and provide logistics guarantee for networked operation. The project is the first informatizatin project carried out by Baosight Software in rail traffic industry, and is also the first successful implementation of Baosight's purchasing supply chain product software outside the metallurgical industry. The project was launched in 2009 and put on-line successfully in 2010. So far the effect of application is good.
