OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2011. The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues its activities on execution of tasks set in the Order of the Head of the state dated May 23, 2011 “On some measures on organization of electronic services by state bodies” to provide real time e-payment of duties and other payments, reported the press-centre of CBA.

The card infrastructure existing in the Republic has been integrated to the Centralized Information System for Mass Payments (CISMP) within this framework – “Capitalkart” processing center of the “Capital Bank” OJSC and “TechCard” OJSC processing center of the “Texnikabank” OJSC interfaced with the CISMP created by the Central Bank.

Thus, more than 2 million of payment card users utilizing services of these processing centers may, in addition to bank and post offices, receive notifications about/and make payments for such utility services as electricity, water, gas, and administrative infractions made in connection with driving offences by registering at the web-page of the CISMP (www.apus.az) or without registration.

Soon, it will be possible to create the same opportunities for other mass services and budget payments.
