OREANDA-NEWS. September 26, 2011. The profit posted by the Group in the 1H 2011 is 14 times higher then for the 1H 2010. KSG Аgro is one of the largest vertically integrated agricultural Groups in the Dnipropetrovsk region, which works almost in all segments of the agricultural market, including production, storage, processing, and sale of the agricultural products. The Group also increased its revenue in the first half of the year 2011 (ended 06.30.2011) by 57 % to USD 2 588 thousand comparing to the same period in 2010.

" First half of 2011 was quite successful for us. We have finished reorganization of KSG Agro S.A. and successfully raised funds during the IPO at the Warsaw stock exchange – Sergiy Kasianov, the Head of the board of Directors of KSG Agro S.A. has told. – Group’s land bank was increased via buying agricultural entities with the high quality black soils, which substantially added to our regional dominant position. KSG Agro considers possibility of the land bank expansion on additional 20 thousand hectares by the end of the year" – Mr. Kasianov adds.

During the first half of 2011 the agricultural holding increased its land bank from 26.5 thousand hectares to 52,9 thousand hectares via acquiring ten new companies.
The profit KSG Agro S.A. for the first half of the year ended 30.06.2011, was USD 18,750 thousand (30.06.2010: USD 1,352 thousand). On 30.06.2011 the total assets of the agricultural holding are USD 97,482 thousand (30.06.2010: USD 34,054 thousand) and the net assets of the company are USD 64,578 thousand (30.06.2010: USD 6,411 thousand).
