OREANDA-NEWS. September 23, 2011. Sviaz-Bank acted as paying agent authorized by Rostelecom OJSC to pay interest on the eleventh coupon and redeem 20% of the par value of the company’s Series03 bonds, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

The bondholders were paid coupon interest at a rate of 8.5% per annum, or 16 rubles 95 kopecks per bond, and 20% of the par value of the bonds in accordance with the debt repayment schedule.
After tax had been withheld by the issuer, the total amount of the coupon interest paid reached 650,784,910 rubles.

Rostelecom OJSC offered its Series 03 bonds on February 15, 2011 by converting Series 07 bonds of Uralsviazinform OJSC that had been taken over by Rostelecom OJSC.

Uralsviazinform OJSC floated its six-year Series 07 bonds on March 21, 2006 to raise 3billion rubles. Sviaz-Bank acted as managing underwriter of the issue.
