OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2011. NALCO Foundation, the CSR arm of Navartna PSU NALCO, in collaboration with Orissa State Poultry Products Cooperative Marketing Federation Limited (OPOLFED) has initiated a series of backyard poultry training programme in NALCO’s Utkal-E Coal Project area of Angul district. In the second phase of the training programme, as many as 20 people including 16 women participated. While NALCO Foundation sponsored the programme, the training and technical support were provided by OPOLFED.

In the closing ceremony of the training programme, 20 Banaraja chicks, besides chick feed, medicines and caging materials were handed over to each participant.  Dr P.K. Biswal, GM, OPOLFED and Ms Shabana Parween, Project Manager, NALCO Foundation coordinated the programme.
