Belarus Will Adjust August State-Funded Salaries 55.1%
OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2011. Money incomes originating from state-funded sources in August 2011 will be adjusted 55.1% to catch up with the consumer price index that exceeded the 5% threshold in comparison with the June figures, when the most recent adjustment was made,
The salary adjustment follows President Lukashenko’s ordinance #55 of January 28, 2006 and applies to incomes under Br442,360 – the average subsistence budget. The remaining part of the salary that exceeds the subsistence budget will not be adjusted.
Unemployment benefits for persons engaged in professional training shall be adjusted by 110.7%.
August’s minimum labour wage will be adjusted 51.4% to Br 687,370. Hence, the minimum hourly wage is Br4,050.
