OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2011. 2011 Beijing International Disaster Mitigation and Relief Equipment & Technology Expo (BIDMRETE) sponsored by Norinco was held at National Agricultural Exhibition Hall, reported the press-centre of Norinco.   

Covering an exhibition area of over 2,500 square meters, the Expo exhibits disaster mitigation and relief products, technologies and services from more than 60 exhibitors in various sectors including the weapon industry, ranging from weather modification, forest fire truck, python-like vehicle, meteorological rocket shell, fire extinguishing bomb, UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), weather radar, snowmobile, motorcycle ambulance, chemical protective suit, anticorrosion mask, medical equipment, emergency water purification equipment, tent to application and promotion of new energy technologies, which has aroused widespread concern.

The Expo attracted more than 3,000 people to visit and conduct business negotiations, including officials from commercial counselor’s office and military attache's office of over 30 embassies to China, professionals in relevant domestic industries and foreign investors.
