OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2011. Sviaz-Bank acted as paying agent authorized by Rostelecom OJSC to pay interest on the twentieth coupon and redeem 20% of the par value of the company’s Series08 bonds, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

The bondholders were paid coupon interest at a rate of 6.65% per annum, or 16 rubles 58 kopecks per bond, and 20% of the par value of the bonds in accordance with the company’s debt repayment schedule.

In all, 63,881,622 rubles 6 kopecks was paid in coupon interest after taxes withheld by the issuer.
Rostelecom OJSC floated its Series 08 bond issue on February 15, 2011 by converting Series VT-4 bonds of VolgaTelecom OJSC following the issuer’s takeover by Rostelecom OJSC.

VolgaTelecom OJSC offered its seven-year Series VT-4 bonds on September 12, 2006, to raise 3billion rubles.
