OREANDA-NEWS. September 20, 2011. Two biggest payments made by Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. last month amounted to UAH 128,461 and 17,035.

In the first case, the company indemnified loss to a corporate insured, which was insured under the voluntary property insurance agreement in relation to damage of the supermarket building. Damage was done as a result of a fire caused by short circuit. The insurance agreement provided coverage on the interior finishing, communications, engineering, commercial equipment, fire safety systems and security alarm of the supermarket. The facility was insured with three insurance companies (Allianz share is 35%). Indemnity paid by Allianz Ukraine amounted to UAH 128,461.

Another loss event occurred in Kyiv in the office insured with Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. Interior and exterior finishing of the premises were damaged as a result of precipitation. The company paid out to the insured UAH 17,035. Insurance coverage under the agreement included the following risks: fire, stroke of lightning, explosion, storm and hail, earthquake, land subsidence, land slide, damage by water from water supply, heating, sewerage and similar systems, burglary, robbery, banditry, deliberate destruction or damage of the insured property, hooliganism and snow pressure.
