Kazakhtelecom Became First at Annual Republican Languages Festival
OREANDA-NEWS. September 20, 2011. Kazakhtelecom JSC employees took I place amongst employees of telecom operators on annual republican festival "Til tutastygy– el tutastygy". Traditionally festival is held on eve of celebration of Day of languages of Kazakhstan nations, this year it is times to 20 years of Independence of Republic of Kazakhstan, reported the press-centre of Kazakhtelecom.
Kazakhtelecom JSC actively participates in this action for fifth time. This year 12 employees of nonindigenous nations represented the company, two of which participated in an individual contest, which consisted of three steps.
Exhibit of stands by main trends of activity and issues on implementation of state language in companies opened the festival. On the second stage – home work "One day from company's life" - Kazakhtelecom JSC employees have presented curious stories from workdays to jury.
On third stage – individual contest "Tauelsizdik - el tirwgi" fest participants tried to tell about themselves as interesting as they can do. Besides, competitors had to show their individual creative talents. Also in a task "Soz mergen" individual context participants had to answer three questions from history of Kazakhstan of various grade of difficulty, which open theme of independency of Republic of Kazakhstan.
By decision of the jury Kazakhtelecom JSC teams and Altel JSC team shared the first place. In nomination "En uzdik stend" warded Kazakhtelecom JSC, and Elina Ivanova, employee of Pavlodar OTD became the first in individual contest
In the whole leading telecom operator pays special attention to issues of implementation of state language. As notes Nagiya Smagulova, Director for organization –control department of Kazakhtelecom JSC, at present share of document flow on Kazakh language composes 100% in the company. "For holding leading positions on competitive telecommunication market, Kazakhtelecom JSC expands innovation types of services. Hereby providing services on conversation language is one of priority tasks", - underlined she.
There are seminars, trainings hold constantly in the company, which promote development of employees' respect to the language, national traditions, custom, culture and was of life. All branches an subdivisions of Kazakhtelecom JSC provided with dictionaries, manuals, educational –methodical materials, visual manuals. Kazakhtelecom JSC- first amongst large business companies worked out Russian-Kazakh dictionary of most often used words and terms in telecommunications, which have been presented for approval to State terminological commission at Government of Republic of Kazakhstan (further Commission). 399 terms and phrases used in telecommunications have been approved in 2004, 916 terms more have also been approved by commission the same year.
