OREANDA-NEWS. September 19, 2011. The extraordinary general meeting of the MICEX shareholders, which had place on Friday September,16, has elected a new Board of the MICEX. The MICEX shareholders voted for the early termination of office of the members of the MICEX Board and elected 19 new members of the Board. The composition of the new Board of the MICEX:

Sergei Shvetsov, Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia, was elected Chairman of the Board of the MICEX. Sergey Lykov, Member of the Board of VEB, was elected Vice Chairman of the Board of the MICEX.

The new Board was elected for a term until the next annual general meeting of shareholders, scheduled for Spring 2012.
