OREANDA-NEWS. September 19, 2011. Their introduction was determined by the European Union’s recent decision to increase quotas for delivering products in a duty free regime provided to Moldova.

Particularly, on wine supplies quotas for 2011 were increased by 80% in comparison with the last year, to 1.5 mln decaliters. In 2012, they will total 1.8 mln decaliters, in 2013 – 2.4 mln decaliters.

Sugar export quotas will be increased from 26 thousand tones in 2011 to 34 thousand tones in 2012-2015. Barley quotas will be growing every year by 5 thousand tones and will be increased from 35 thousand tones in 2011 to 60 thousand tones.

Maize quotas will be increased from 30 thousand tones in 2011 to 40 thousand tones in 2012 and in the next years they will be increased by 5 thousand tones each year, to reach 55 thousand tones in 2015.
