OREANDA-NEWS. September 19, 2011. Russian Agricultural Bank (RusAg) extended RUB 112 billion for seasonal field works, in comparison with M9 2010 amount of lending grew by 22.5%, the Bank received 12.4 thousand of loan applications. Growth was due to the significant improvement of the organization of the lending process, reported the press-centre of RusAg.   

The most commonly encountered by borrowers, as well as in previous years, are complex loans for the purchase of fuel and lubricants, seeds, fertilizers and spare parts for agricultural machinery. They accounted for about 52% of total lending for spring field works. Share of loans extended to livestock breeding complexes for the purchase of feedstuff, veterinary preparations and other increased to 14.5% (for the same period of 2010 — 10.6%), share of loans for the grain purchase reached 14.7%.

RusAg plans to increase the volume of lending for seasonal field works up to RUB 140 billion till the end of the year.
