OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2011. In 2010 the income of the largest Ukrainian companies increased by 30%. It is proved by data of the investigation “TOP-500 of the largest companies of Central and Eastern Europe” that has been carried out by the specialists of PJSC Deloitte & Touche for five years.

The investigation “TOP-500 of the largest companies of Central and Eastern Europe” is carried out in 18 countries of the region. The rating was created on the basis of information about companies’ income in the financial year 2010. The income is presented in EURO according to the average exchange rate. Ukrainian companies’ rating was made on the basis of financial reviews, filling up by the companies’ representatives.

Among 43 Ukrainian companies presented in the rating this year, 41 companies demonstrated income increase, and only 2 of them – drop in income, that is one of the best index numbers in the region. It is cardinally opposite tendency in comparison with last year.

Still, NIBULON, being a leader among the agricultural companies for several previous years, has strengthened its position in this year rating. It is proved by quick up of the company on to the 152nd position and EURO 1105.7 mln of its income.

It is symbolic that to the 20th anniversary of Ukrainian independency NIBULON renewed the implementation of its patriotic investment program in development of Ukrainian grain market infrastructure and renew of navigation by the Dnipro and other Ukrainian rivers. The experts point out that only successful company is able to carry out its investment activity publicly. The evidence of the company’s success is its effective cooperation, even during the world financial crisis, with leading international financial institutions, such as the EBRD, the World Bank etc. So, NIBULON’s strong position in the rating is a real recognition and proof of successful activity of the company not only in Ukraine but also in the world.
Consumer business and transport sector to which belong NIBULON, is represented in the rating by the most companies (16 Ukrainian companies are in the rating), that reflects global tendency in TOP-500. It should be noted, that among Ukrainian companies in this sector NIBULON made way only for Ukrzaliznytsya, becoming the 12th among all Ukrainian companies.

In energy production and resources sector among Ukrainian companies Naftogaz Ukraine became the first one, in industrial production sector – Metinvest, in technologies and communications sector – Kyivstar.
