South Korean Delegation Examined Gas-Powered KAMAZ Vehicles
OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2011. The Service Center of OOO RariTEK – a distributor of OJSC KAMAZ producing vehicles powered with gas engines – was visited by Mr. Young Kuk Noh, Vice-President of the South Korean Group of Companies Kolon.
The main purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with KAMAZ trucks running on compressed natural gas (methane). During the meeting, the guest was demonstrated the potential of the complex of services and equipment: a line for technical inspection of vehicles and buses, a laboratory for diagnostics and repair of CNG equipment, a shop for service maintenance of gas-powered KAMAZ trucks. The representative of the South Korean business carefully examined a mobile service center, a filling station AGNKS BI 100, which belong to the technical equipment necessary for enterprises for operation and maintenance of CNG KAMAZ trucks.
After the visit to RariTEK, Young Kuk Noh gave high praise to the demonstrated gas vehicles at the meeting with Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan. In his reply, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the program to transfer vehicles to use natural gas was very urgent and first-priority, especially in terms of environmental problems solving.
Kolon Group was founded in 1954. It consists of 26 subsidiary companies that specialize in different areas – petrochemicals, construction and service, information and communication, as well as introduction of new technologies.
