OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2011. Yang Song, Chairman of CPPCC Hubei Provincial Committee, conducted an inspection visit to the jobsite of Wuhan Avenue (namely Jinqiao Avenue from Zhuyeshan to Sanjintan) under construction by China First Metallurgical Construction Group (CFMCC Group), reported the press-centre of MCC.

Zhu Yi, Director-General of Publicity Department of CPC Wuhan Municipal Committee, Chairman Song Zhanjiang and Vice General Manager Wu Gangping of CFMCC Group accompanied Yang during the visit. Song Zhanjiang made a briefing on the project execution.
To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of China 1911 Revolution, various commemorative activities are announced and to be organized in Hubei Province, and now the preparation work is being pushed forward smoothly.

As one of the key links for these activities, Wuhan Avenue has been designated as the longest scenic highway by Wuhan Municipal Government, and will act as a direct access from Tianhe Airport to the Provincial Government for national leaders, Taiwan compatriots and all the other distinguished guests. Hence the construction works of this avenue has attracted keen attention from the government. Yang Song, who is responsible for all the major events, has paid visits to the jobsite for quite a few times.

Standing on the third level of the trestle, Yang Song was debriefed on the construction progress of the main works of the avenue, the scenic byways, as well as the improvement works of Huangxiao River.

Song Zhanjiang also gave a working report. Nowadays the trestle along Wuhan Avenue has been basically completed, and the construction plan for the bridge surface spanning Beijing-Guangzhou Railway has also been prepared by CFMCC Group. Therefore asphaltum paving works could be commenced once the necessary conditions are available, so as to ensure the timely opening for traffic of the avenue.

Yang Song emphasized the great importance of Wuhan Avenue for enhancement of the overall image of Wuhan City. He expected CFMCC Group to fulfill this works on a timely and quality basis, so as to not only facilitate the commemorative activities of the 100th Anniversary of China 1911 Revolution, but also provide a fast access road for the convenience of the citizens’ lives.
