OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2011. Between Ukraine and Qatar the regular air communication will be established. The appropriating order "On signing the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Qatar on the air" by request of the vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Infrastructure Borys Kolesnikov was approved at a session of the Government.

The agreement will determine the procedure of regulation of international flights while operating the agreed routes between Ukraine and Qatar and the procedure for appointment of airlines. Also, the document will set out the conditions under which permission for regular flights will be provided and overridden for airlines.

The Air Transport Agreement between Ukraine and Qatar will provide for mutual recognition of certificates of crew members and will enable airlines to enter commercial arrangements on the transport to the joint use of air corridor and so on.

The Agreement between the Governments of both countries on air service is designed to create a bilateral legal framework for the establishment of regular air services between Ukraine and Qatar.
