OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2011. The brand new vehicle – Ural-based crew bus (6x6, cab-over-engine, YaMZ-236НЕ2 engine) has enhanced comfort due to smooth running ensured by pneumatic suspension. Technical improvements of the van body ensured enhanced consumer characteristics, as well as higher economic efficiency, reported the press-centre of GAZ Group.

The upgraded van body has integral side panels, folding entrance step with mechanical drive, enhanced ventilation in the passenger compartment (vents in the left and right panels, two emergency ventipanes in the roof). The new crew bus is office-type. In addition to the heaters the bus has air conditioning to ensure a comfortable micro-climate. It is planned to launch the vehicle into mass production in 2011.

Ural-63704 heavy-duty all-wheel-drive cab-over-engine truck tractor (6Х6) is designed to tow semi-trailers at ambient temperatures from –45°Сto +40°Сin all types of roads and terrain. GVW is 33.4 t; the road train gross weight is 63 t. The main component of Ural-63704 truck is YaMZ-650 Euro-4 412 hp six-cylinder diesel engine produced under Renault-Trucks license and UNECE certified. The main components (powertrain, transmission, three-circuit brake system with ABS, lighting and other) by the leading European manufacturers ensure high reliability of the vehicle. Cabin night heater, electrically heated rear-view mirrors, pneumatic seats etc. included in the base cabin configuration with a sleeping berth considerably improve the vehicle comfort level.
