GAZ Group Presents New Generation of Buses
OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2011. At the 11th international specialized exhibition Commercial Autotransport’2011 GAZ Group demonstrates a complete range of buses in new modifications offering package solutions for the key accounts. The bus exposition of the company includes LIAZ-5292 low-floor city bus manufactured specifically for Moscow, restyled PAZ-320412 suburban bus, GOLAZ-5251 Voyage intercity bus on Scania platform and GOLAZ-5291 Cruise built as a mobile headquarters vehicle. ComTrans’2011 exhibition is taking place in Moscow exhibition center Crocus Expo from 13 to 17 September 2011, reported the press-centre of GAZ Group.
LIAZ-5292 low-floor city bus presented at GAZ Group’s stand is the first Euro-5 bus in Moscow complying with all international requirements to the passenger safety and comfort. The buses are equipped with Man engines, ZF axles and automatic transmission, glass units in the windows, upgraded heating system, new headlamp optics, engine protection that reduces the noise level, ramps, special seats for wheelchair users and driver call buttons. The buses have climate systems, GLONASS equipment, automatic ticket control, temperature sensors, route indicators, electronic digital tachographs that can read the driver’s personal card. The driver’s cabin and the passenger compartment of every bus are equipped with video cameras and a route video camera that can send the data to the control center.
The new modification of GOLAZ-5251 Voyage intercity coach on Scania platform is designed for operation on routes up to 500 km and more and conforms to all requirements in this bus class, including international UNECE regulations in active and passive safety (ESP, ABS, ASR, EBS, safety belts). The base package includes air conditioning. Panoramic windshield, bigger luggage compartments than in the similar competitor buses, high-quality materials in the interior, on-board computer, digital tachograph, electronically controlled suspension with body up and down functions, a wide choice of comfortable passenger seats – all these advantages ensure comfortable transportation of passengers in intercity routes.
The mobile headquarters bus on the platform of GOLAZ-5291 Cruise coach is designed for operation in the corporate transport segment. The bus is offered in various modifications depending on the specifics of the customer organization: mobile medical units, mobile headquarters buses for the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Ministry of Interior, power supply companies and gas companies etc. The bus has communications equipment, computers with internet access, screens, loudspeakers, video cameras, silent generators, toilet, kitchen unit, office furniture, working stations for the operators, meeting room, GPS, survival kits and recreational space. The luggage compartment of the bus has additional noise insulation, silent generator, three additional Webasto air heaters feeding warm air into the passenger compartment, electricity closet for connection to the exterior electrical network, water reservoir, boiler, water pump and direct voltage converter. The bus will ensure comfortable conditions for any task force in emergency response operations and will increase their mobility. After the exhibition the bus will be delivered to the Moscow heat supply company.
Pavlovo Bus Plant of GAZ Group presents medium PAZ-320412 suburban bus at the exhibition. This year the interior and exterior of the bus have been restyled, new-series Cummins ISF engines have been installed, the bus has been equipped with a new front and rear elements with Hella optics. The upgraded lights panel has been designed as one unit with the radiator grille that has modern cellular cross-section for increased front ventilation of the engine. The bumper is made based on the modern automotive trends and consists of three parts which simplifies bus repair. The bus has a new modern ergonomical driver seat with a new steering wheel, electronic instrument cluster and hood. The passenger compartment has modern light-emitting-diode linears operating in various modes and ensuring efficient use of electricity. At the same time the customer is offered a wide choice of options: air conditioning, luggage racks, audio and video systems, various passenger seats, safety belts etc. The bus has good economic efficiency parameters: low fuel consumption - 22 litre/100 km, service interval - 12 thousand km, availability of spare parts, high durability of the body and powertrain.
