OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2011. Branch of JSC "IDGC North-West" "Arkhenergo" will repair Mezenskaya diesel electro station (DES). It is planned to replace two diesel generators. The capacity will increase from 630 kW to 800 kW. Currently, “Arkhenergo” holds a competition to choose a contractor. Total capital investment for the project will amount to 40 million.

Mesenskaya diesel power station is an important socially significant object. It provides a reliable and uninterrupted power supply of an inaccessible area in the north of the Arkhangelsk region. That is why “Arkhenergo” pays close attention to maintenance of the power plant.
