Air India in-House Journal Awarded First Prize
OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2011. Air India’s in-house journal, Vimanika was adjudged the ‘Best Hindi In-House Journal’ in region “A” and was awarded the First Prize in this category by Ministry of Home Affairs for the year 2011.
Mr. Rohit Nandan, Chairman and Managing Director, Air India, received the prize from Hon’ble President of India, Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, in a grand ceremony held today at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The prize was given in the presence of Mr. P. Chidambram, Hon’ble Union Minister for Home Affairs, Mr. M. Ramchandran and Mr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Union Ministers of State for Home Affairs, Govt of India.
The award was instituted in 2004 and is given every year by the Official Language Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs to the best Hindi in-house journal / magazine.
