OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2011. In August 2011, according to the Association "Ukrautoprom" 27,788 thousand vehicles were sold in Ukraine and was first put on the account in GAI.

Thus, consumer activity in the domestic automotive market grew by 4.1% compared to July of this year and by 42.4% compared with last year August.
New motor vehicles market, which has the greatest impact on domestic production, has changed as follows.
The volume of registrations of new passenger cars increased by 7.0% to July of this year and by 35.1% to August 2010 and amounted to 20 thousand 132 pieces.
New commercial vehicles registrations made up 1.799 thousand (-6,2% to July 2011 and +30,6% to August 2010).
The new buses registration in August amounted to 340 units, which is 2.4% more than in July 2011 and 89.9% more than last year August.
