OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2011. In August 2011, Ukraine produced 9,206 vehicles, which is 4.7% less than in July and 37.6% more than in last year August.

Production of passenger cars in August as compared to July dropped to 8,393 units (at 7.1%), as compared to August 2010 increased by 39.5 percent.
Production of commercial vehicles in August totaled 372 units (5.1% more than in July and 2.6% less than in August 2010).
Production of buses in August reached 441 units, exceeding the rates in July and last year August by 62.1% and 50% respectively.
During eight months of this year Ukraine produced 67,127 vehicles, which is 48% higher than in 2010. Among them:
Cars – 62,885 units (57%)
Commercial Vehicles – 2,178 units (-38%)
