OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2011. The Aide-memoire for 3rd Phase Outer-ring Expressway in Colombo was signed by Chairman Li Shukuan of MCC International Incorporation Limited and Mr. R. W. Ranjith Pemasiri, Director-General of Road Development Authority (RDA), in Sri Lanka, reported the press-centre of MCC Group.

The signing of the Aide-memoire symbolizes that MCC International Incorporation Limited has bagged a new deal of expressway works following the Airport Expressway Project in Sri Lanka. Like the previous works, the 3rd Phase Outer-ring Expressway in Colombo is also featured by soft soil foundation, and viaduct bridge shall be employed in the technical options.

This project is contracted on an EPC basis, which is the second EPC works undertaken by MCC Group in Sri Lanka, as well as the second one for expressway construction in this country, setting up a demonstrative example for road construction in EPC manner in Sri Lanka.
As the witnesses, Lin Hongbing, Chief Representative of MCC Group in Sri Lanka, and Manager Dong Heping for Airport Expressway Project Division of MCC Group also made signatures on the Aide-memoire.
