Swedish, Moldovan Businessmen Participated in Round Table
OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2011. Swedish Trade Minister Ewa Bjorling said Moldova’s economy had recovered surprisingly quickly after the global crisis and had registered one of the highest growth indicators, the government’s press service reported.
Swedish minister also said she hopes Moldova’s negotiations with the EU over the agreement on the free, deepened and comprehensive trade would begin during Poland’s chairmanship in the EU, noting that this document will make Moldova more accessible and reliable for Swedish businessmen. Ewa Bjorling also stood for intensification of the two countries’ economic relations, saying that Swedish companies are interested in our country and are aware of Moldova’s potential.
“Such Swedish companies, as Ericsson and Oriflame successfully work in your country”, she said. Moldova’s Prime Minister Vladimir Filat informed the “round table’s” participants of the reform process in Moldova and expressed optimism regarding the trade-economic cooperation of the two countries. Vladimir Filat also thanked Sweden’s government for the assistance provided to our country, noting that Sweden is Moldova’s largest donor.
