OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2011. Since the beginning of the year (as of September 12, 2011) the Ukraine Railways are transported 7.764 million tons of grain cargoes, including 5.2 million tons transported for export. In domestic traffic are transported 2.5 million tons of grain.

In particular, Donetsk Railway are transported 279.9 thousand tons, Prydniprovs'ka - 832.9 thousand tons, South carried 1 503.9 tons, South Western Railway - 2045.7 thousand tons, Lviv - 388.8 thousand tons, Odessa - 2712.8 thousand tons.

The main types of grain cargoes that transported: wheat, barley, grain maize, rapeseed and sunflower.

As of September 12 at the port stations, port elevators, and complexes for grain handling on its way to them are located 6 741 loaded grain carriers. Total inventory park of wagons-grain carriers of Ukrzaliznytsya constitutes 11 579 wagons.
