OREANDA-NEWS. September 13, 2011. Concern Galnaftogaz took 226th place in TOP 500 biggest Central and Eastern European companies research promulgated on the 8th of September by international consulting firm Deloitte. Comparing with the previous rating Concern increased by 114 positions, it allowed Concern to enter top twenty of region’s most dynamic companies.

Deloitte company estimated Concern Galnaftogaz proceeds in 2010 at € 821 million. "PJSC Concern Galnaftogaz income increased twice in 2010 due to the successful increase of sales volume and spending cutback, – it is said in Deloitte comment on rating. – Publicly declared strategic aim of company is strengthening of its position in three leading country’s filling complexes operators due to the improvement of efficiency and quality of basic products and services".

All in all 43 Ukrainian companies are presented in this year’s TOP 500. Concern Galnaftogaz is in 21st place among them.

According to Deloitte managing director in Ukraine Volodymyr Vakhta, the amount of companies in Ukraine that showed increase last year is considerably more than in other countries (research covered economies of 18 countries), and in the first months of 2011 this tendency is proceeding. In the first quarter Ukraine found itself in top three countries, where business was most dynamically developing.
