OREANDA-NEWS. September 13, 2011. A new production line will be made on the basis of assembly procurement area (APA) of OJSC Sosnovoborelektromontazh which is the main electric installation of the Holding. It will be based on a modern laser complex  TruLaser 1030 and a press break, which are to be purchased under the contract signed with the TRUMPF Company.

According to Elena Naginskaya, Director General of TITAN-2 JSC, the main purpose of the new line commissioning is to widen the range and to increase the volume of electric wiring products manufactured. “This will significantly increase the productivity and will create new opportunities to attract customers, because even complicated and non-standardized products will be manufactured with  high accuracy and European quality.” – marked Elena Naginskaya.

Today, APA of OJSC Sosnovoborelektromontazh manufactures electrical control cabinets, lighting switchboard panels, valve actuator module boxes, cable racks, and cable trays. It is planned that when the new production line starts its operation, the new racks, shelves, and steel structures, as well as sheaths of electrical control equipment will be added to the products range.

Manufactured equipment is used by the specialists from OJSC Sosnovoborelektromontazh   for electric installation work at such sites as Leningrad NPP, St Petersburg combined heat and power plant, Kirishinefteorgsintez, reactor complex PIK  PNPI, and others. For example, over 13 thousand equipment items were manufactured at APA facilities for construction of South-West combined heat and power plant in St Petersburg  where OJSC Sosnovoborelektromontazh    was the contractor for the whole package of electric installation works within the frameworks of phase 1. 

The total cost of equipment purchase, personnel training and re-equipment of premises will be about 26 million roubles. The new line is planned to be commissioned prior to the end of this year. According to Elena Naginskaya, TITAN-2 Holding allocates 20% of profit annually to upgrade production facilities, purchase new equipment, and replace the fleet of vehicles and mechanisms.

Currently, the project is being implemented aimed to organize manufacturing the company’s own  threaded socket joints branded as TITAN-R on the basis of JSC TITANSTROYMONTAZH, another Holding’s subsidiary   .
