OREANDA-NEWS. September 13, 2011. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) is considering a petition “Gazprom Mezhregongaz Moskva” Ltd. (location: 2A, Golubinskaya St., Moscow, 117574; main activities: wholesale fuel sale) on acquiring 50% voting shares of “Optima” CJSC (location: 13/2 Begovaya St., Moscow, 125284; main activities: financial intermediary) (further on referred to as the Petition), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Governed by Clause 2 Part 2 and Part 3 Article 33 of No.135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”, the Federal Antimonopoly Service extended the period for considering the petition for two months in order to additionally examine the petition and obtain additional information.

Interested persons can submit information to the Federal Antimonopoly Service as to how the transaction in question may affect the state of competition.
