OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2011. Nikolay Kutyin, Head of the Federal service for ecological, technological and atomic supervision, and Svetlana Radionova, Deputy Head of Rostekhnadzor met with Damir Shavaleev, General Director of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat, in Moscow.

In the course of the meeting the participants discussed issues on cooperation between Gazprom neftekhim Salavat and Rostekhnadzor with regard to the increase of industrial and ecological safety level during the operation of existing production plants, the design and construction of new facilities, the work with subcontractors. 

One of the results of the meeting included an agreement on appropriation of additional funds by the company for industrial and ecological safety implementation.

Gazprom neftekhim Salavat allocates annually over 700 mln rubles for modernization of industrial facilities with regard to improve their reliability during operation as well as to increase industrial and labour safety level. In 2011 this amount will be increased by 800 mln rubles and make 1.5 bln rubles. HSE policy of the company is built on the recognition of life and health of the company employees and town citizens as the priority.
