OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2011. The Company invests over billion rubles for the construction of a new on-spot loading unit for dark-oil products.

The commissioning of the unit will allow Gazprom neftekhim Salavat to improve performance of ecological and industrial safety. Great accuracy of oil products loading and economy will be reached as well as working conditions for employees will be improved with the start-up of the unit.

The unit with the capacity of 3mln t/y is designed for loading of oil products – oil fuel, feedstock for bitumen, pyrolysis resin and vacuum gasoil – for railway shipments. It will replace heavily depreciated and out-of-date equipment of the loading and discharge rack.

The construction cost of the on-spot loading unit for dark-oil products (AUTN) makes about 1400 mln rubles. At present the design documentation has been carried out and the procurement contract has been concluded for AUTN. Gazprom neftekhim Salavat plans to put the unit into operation in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Technological possibilities of AUTN unit are intended for the increase of quantity of shipments in view of following commissioning of crude oil distillation plant ELOU AVT-6.
