Baosteel Chairman Met with CEO of Nomura Holdings & Nomura Securities
OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2011. Baosteel Group chairman Xu Lejiang met with CEO of Nomura Holdings and Nomura Securities, Kenichi Watanabe and his retinue at Baosteel Tower. Both sides exchanged views on issues of world economic development. Baosteel Group deputy general manager Dai Zhihao attended the meeting, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.
Nomura Holdings and Nomura Securities is a dominant investment bank in Japan with 80 old years of history. It is world's largest independent investment bank. Its asset quality and level of indebtedness rank in the top among international investment banks.
Xu Lejiang welcomed Kenichi Watanabe and thanked him for Nomura's long-standing support for Baosteel's development. He said currently the world economy was filled with uncertainties and it brought enormous challenges for business operation. Xu Lejiang hoped that Nomura could evoke further advantages as an investment bank and offer plans and strategies for Baosteel development; that two sides could maintain high-level exchanges and establish closer cooperation.
