OREANDA-NEWS. September 9, 2011. Ak Bars Aero airline perfomed debut international flight Kazan-Munich(Germany)-Kazan on September,7. This flight came to life for the first time in the history of Tatarstan.

Ak Bars Aero airline organized a ceremonial event in honor of the flight opening. It was held a la unique Munich holiday-Octoberfest at the international airport Kazan. The goverment of Tatarstan gave full support to make the direct flight from Kazan to Munich possible.  Many senior officials of Tatarstan goverment spoke on the ceremony of opening.

Weekly air communication between Kazan and Munich will be additional motivation in the sphere of tourism and economy in the republic of Tatarstan. It will also strengthen cultural and historical relations between Germany and Tatarstan.  This flight opens prospects for cooperation between Tatarstan and German authorities and investors.

Munich is a lovely resting-place for tourists, international conferences and congresses holding. In Bavaria there are many good medical centers and spa resorts.

The departure time from Kazan is at 6.45 p.m.(Moscow time) every Wednesday.

The departure time from Munich is at 10.00 p.m.(Munich time).
Arrival to Kazan is at 4.a.m.(Moscow time) at Thursday.
