OREANDA-NEWS. September 9, 2011. From today Azerbaijan has started use of electronic-digital signatures.

Deputy Communication and Information Technologies Minister of Azerbaijan ILTIMAS Mammadov has reported that individuals and legal entities can apply to departments of National postal operator Azerpocht for reception of electronic-digital signatures.

State bodies will receive EDS directly in the Ministry’s Information Computing Centre. EDS will also be available in postal departments of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic",- he noted.

According to Deputy Minister the meeting devoted to discussion of organizational issues  of electronic services by state bodies will take place in a month-a month and a half.

By this time all bodies should organize electronic services and the Ministry is ready to provide any assistance in creation of necessary infrastructure in state bodies ",- I. Mammadov noted.
