Northern Anhui and 6 cities along Huaihe River developed fast at the beginning year of 12th Five-Year Plan, according to Anhui Provincial Committee of Economy and Information September 3. Many indicators such as industrial added value, industrial investment and rate of produce and sale took lead across the province.

According to statistics, the growth rate of industrial added value of 4 cities in northern Anhui surpassed the average level of Anhui from January to July, of which Suzhou, Bozhou and Fuyang ranked 1st with 26.1%, 4th with 25.0% and 5th with 24.0% respectively. The quality and profit in northern Anhui were enhanced significantly. The enterprises in 6 cities and northern Anhui realized 312.229 billion yuan of main business income from January to July, accounting for 25 % of the whole province.

The average rate of produce and sale in northern Anhui and 6 cities along Huaihe River hit 97 % from January to July, of which Bengbu hit 99.9%.
