OREANDA-NEWS. September 09, 2011. Belarus hopes to receive a second tranche of the EurAsEC Bailout Fund loan in November, Finance Minister Andrei Kharkovets told reporters.

Belarus already received the first installment, amounting to USD 800 million. The second tranche is slated for late 2011.

A representative of the Eurasian Development Bank said the second installment could be postponed.

“We expect the next USD 440 million tranche in November,” Kharkovets said.

He said Belarus’ commitments to the creditor would be monitored based on Belarus’ nine-month performance.
