OREANDA-NEWS. September 8, 2011.  Information Technology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (AMEA) has signed a protocol on scientific-technical cooperation with the Institute of Systems Analysis of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

According to the AMEA, the protocol says of enhancement of cooperation in basic research, joint research projects and programs that serve to innovative development of science and technology. Holding of joint exhibitions, business meetings, scientific conferences and seminars is planned as well.

The parties will collaborate in issues of services in he area of MathCloud and "cloud computing".

Cooperation also implies expansion of capacity of scientific computer network AzScienceNet, joint participation in grant programs on establishment of a data processing center, research of methods on ICT advanced systems.
