OREANDA-NEWS. September 8, 2011.  Bradesco was once again included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, a select list prepared by the New York Stock Exchange comprising those companies with the best sustainable development practices.

 The index analyzes and monitors the initiatives of companies from all over the world, also taking into account their financial performance and social-environmental responsibility aspects. Corporate governance practices, climate change management and mitigation, labor practices and supply chain standards are examples of the topics subjected to analysis.

 Created in 1999, the Dow Jones Sustainability Index is one of the most important global indices for gauging the financial, environmental and social performance of companies, and a reference for global investors who take sustainability criteria into consideration when making their investment decisions.
