OGX Sends Official Letter to Greenpeace

Dear Sir,In response to the rally held today at the company headquarters, OGX would like to inform you that it carries out all its operational activities in Brazil in accordance with applicable legislation, complying in the strictest sense with current environmental legislation and the regulations laid down by the ANP (the National Agency for Oil, Natural Gas, and Biofuels).
With respect to the concessions for blocks BM-ES-37 and BM-ES-38, in which the Company participates along with Perenco Brasil, the latter being responsible for operations, we would like to inform you that these areas are located in deep water in the Espнrito Santo Basin at a distance of approximately 150 km south of Abrolhos National Marine Park, and do not present any risk whatsoever to the Park.
We would like to inform you that OGX, in line with the Sustainability Policy of the EBX Group, is committed to the protection of Brazilian biodiversity, which includes giving support for 10 years to important Preservation Units such as the Fernando de Noronha National Marine Park and the Matogrosso Pantanal National Park. The Company believes that the Abrolhos National Marine Park is an important area for the preservation of biodiversity and as such should be protected.
