OREANDA-NEWS. September 08, 2011. Nordea Banking Group was ranked 22nd among the world’s safest banks according to Global Finance, having gained 5 points in a year, reported the press-centre of Nordea.

In 2011 the magazine has stepped up ranking requirements focusing on banks safety in a long-run perspective.

Winners were selected through an evaluation of long-term credit ratings — from Moody’s, Standard & Poor’s and Fitch — and total assets of the 500 largest banks worldwide.
