OREANDA-NEWS. September 07, 2011. NMDC signed the contract for Raw Material Handling System Package for the upcoming 3 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant at Nagarnar, with M/s. BHEL, reported the press-centre of NMDC.

Mr. G. Viswakarma, ED (Steel Plant) on behalf of NMDC and Mr. U.N. Singh GM, I/c (ISG) on behalf of the BHEL signed Contract Agreement in presence of Shri Rana Som, CMD, NMDC and Shri. B.P.Rao, CMD, BHEL and other dignitaries

Mr. Rana Som, CMD, NMDC at the outset informed that the proposed 3 MTPA steel plant would be the fastest moving steel plant project among all green field or brown field projects in the country.

Mr. B.P.Rao, CMD, BHEL informed that BHEL ISG group at Bangalore is fully geared up to complete this challenging Job Well within the stipulated time of 30 months.

The Raw Material Handling System will be handling @ 10 MT/year of Raw Material catering to the different units of the NMDC Steel Plant.
