OREANDA-NEWS. September 07, 2011. The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has invited the Russian side to take part in the activities of the new gas company which will be established after the restructuring of NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine". He stated this while talking to journalists in Kyiv.

The Prime Minister predicted that the company could receive the license for extraction about 1 trillion cubic meters of natural gas. "Naftogaz will be reformed; there will be absolutely transparent company which will be engaged in extraction of gas. We shall place actions of this company at stock exchanges. If Russia wants to take part in work of this company - please, it could do it. This company will be passed actives to extraction about 1 trillion cubic meters of gas", - Mykola Azarov told.

At the same time he expressed hope that interests of strategic partnership and cooperation between Ukraine and the Russian Federation in many branches of economy will be above for temporary reception by Russia of super profits for one side gas agreements of 2009.

The Prime Minister emphasized that for one and a half year of work of the new President and the Government it was possible to restore normal partner attitudes between two countries and to begin realization of long-term cooperation projects, in particular, in the field of aircraft construction, nuclear power. "We have begun a lot of serious integration and cooperation projects. And in the further wee are interested in the general market of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. We are opened for the Russian investments. Long-term strategic interests should move the aspect connected with gas disagreements. I have faith in it", - the Prime Minister emphasized.
