Ukraine Will Not Admit Rise in Prices on Petrochemicals
OREANDA-NEWS. September 06, 2011. The Government will not admit a rise in prices on petrochemicals. It was declared by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov on air for Inter TV channel.
The Prime Minister emphasized, that importers and sellers of gasoline had no bases to go up price for fuel as they had created for themselves certain "margin of safety", not reducing of the price for fuel proportionally to reduction of price on oil, as well as during action of smaller rates of the excise.
"Consequently we now speak them, that you have created the certain safety factor, therefore, keep dear on these stocks. We shall closely observe the nearest 2-3 weeks how the situation in the market of oil will develop. Also we shall do conclusions. If it is required we will take appropriating measures. Moreover, the decision on delivery to Ukraine of a significant amount of petrochemicals is accepted. Therefore in aggregate it would not affect a price situation in the market", noted the Head of the Government.
